Can Lorraine stand the heat ?

John Littlewood

2CV owner John Littlewood will make the 1000km journey from Mackay to meet all the Raiders at Trinity Beach near Cairns. He states: "In this way I will be able to meet some 2CV people, which would be excellent, as I simply do not see anybody here !!". e-mail: Littlewood@mackay.net.au
On the 22^nd April 2000 John took his 2CV to the "Mackay Classic Car Display" and won the 'most unusual car' award
which carried $ 300 prize.

Drown Under ?

Christoph hat seine Ente schon längst als U-Boot umgebaut, damit seine Kids die australische Unterwasserwelt ungehindert bewundern können. Christoph and his family are in car no. 37.

Barry and Rowena

Barry Sargent (Raider in 1992 and 1996) and
Rowena De Montford (Raid 1996) recently lead a Mercedes Car Club event to Perth, W. A.
Not quite a Raid but nevertheless a very successful trip.

... and a new engine is prepared. Car no. 2 is now complete however much detailed work still to be done.
